Comparative Visualization of Protein Structures


As a part of my internship in UiB VisGroup Bergen, I researched and implemented a interactive prototype application for comparative visualization of protein structures, also in the cooperation with CAVER Team which brought important background of moleculecular visualization.

Protein function is determined by many factors, namely by its constitution, spatial arrangement, and dynamic behavior. Studying these factors helps the biochemists and biologists to better understand the protein behavior and to design proteins with modified properties.
